Next week Baraga Area Schools will hold their Spring Conferences. Due to ongoing Covid issues, and wanting all to be safe, we will once again be doing them virtually. It will be a different sign up from the way we did it in the Fall, but hopefully easier. Look back here early next week for instructions on how to sign up. Thank you for your patience in this matter. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact Mr. Scott at 353-6661

MEDIA RELEASE
Our Youth, Our Future Survey To Be Conducted at
Baraga Area High School
On February 26th, students in 6th -12th grades will begin participating in the Our Youth, Our Future survey in cooperation with the Tri-Ethnic Center for Prevention Research at Colorado State University. The funding for the administration of the survey comes from a federal grant awarded to the Tri-Ethnic Center, which allows the survey to be conducted at no cost to the school. Participation in this survey is voluntary. Parents who wish to withdraw their child from participating may do so by contacting Amanda Rinkinen, counselor, at 906-353-6661 or arinkinen@baragaschools.org. In addition, a copy of the survey is available from the school office for parents who would like to review it. Baraga Area High School believes that students’ participation in this survey will assist the school in planning, funding and evaluating drug and alcohol prevention programs.

We hope you enjoy the big game tomorrow...but after that, you're going to have a lot of cans that will take up space, and are a pain to return. We will take care of that for you! The esports team will be collecting cans in a Drive-Thru style can dropoff at the football field parking lot. It will be directionally marked and have markings on where cans can be returned. As always, proper safety protocols will be followed, including masking and gloves, and we would ask that you be masked as well.
If you would like to have your cans picked up instead, we can arrange that as well! Contact Mr. Davidson if that is what you would like to do, as he can do it sometime during the week.
Proceeds are going towards getting a 6th PC, with any extra money going towards furniture for the esports area (desks and chairs).
We hope you enjoy the game, and we hope you donate on Monday!
Thanks,
Mr. Davidson and the esports team.
