LUNCH:
Monday – Chicken patty sandwich, corn, mandarin oranges, 1% milk
Tuesday – Hot dog with chips, baked beans, apple, 1% milk
Wednesday – Spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic toast, carrots, peaches, 1% milk
Thursday –Pepperoni pizza, oven fries, pear, 1% milk
Friday – Wild rice and turkey casserole, squash, blueberries, cornbread, 1% milk
Those taking from the salad bar must wear gloves. The gloves are provided near the plates and the gloves must be thrown away at the end of the salad bar line.
Students MUST return their lunch trays to the cafeteria every day. The commons area will be off limits if trays continue to be left in there.
The marine recruiter will be here on May 19th from 9:00-11:00. He would like to meet with any interested seniors first, then ALL juniors during second hour. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Rinkinen

There will be After-School Tutoring on Mondays in the computer lab with Ms. Collins from 3:30-5:00.
Any students that are failing 2 or more classes will be required to attend lunchtime Homework Help on Monday/Wednesday with Ms. Crittenden in Room 216. Grades will be checked weekly for all middle/high schoolers. If you are on the list at the beginning of the week, you will be required to attend on BOTH Monday/Wednesday.

There is a Geoheritage Summer Internship available for students 15-18 years of age who are looking for an exciting summer paid internship.
The Geoheritage Summer Internship is a 10-day experiential training program that provides opportunities for students who live in the Keweenaw Bay and Keweenaw Peninsula region to learn about reading landscapes, local history and heritage, geology, GIS technology, and navigation.
The internship will explore various sites around Keweenaw Bay by land and by water aboard the Michigan Tech Research Vessel Agassiz – the ancestral, traditional, and contemporary lands and waters of the Anishinaabeg, the Three Fires Confederacy of Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi peoples and their more than human relatives.
The internship will cultivate skills in geology content knowledge, geospatial technology, navigation, Anishinaabemowin (Anishinaabe language), listening and communication, and understanding the history, culture, and heritage of our place.

High School - Anthony L. is ROCKING this semester. His grades are excellent, he has been kind and helpful, plus he has excellent attendance. He also takes time to do extra credit at nearly every opportunity. Anthony frequently offers to run errands when he doesn't have work to do.
