I am a musician and author with degrees for MTU in English and Archeology. I have over a decade of experience coaching people to their academic and professional goals, and enjoy woodworking and performing music. 

I am a retired English teacher who spent 25 years teaching Alternative Education.  I worked in 5 different schools over the years with all different types of learners.  I believe that anyone can be successful in school with the right motivation,  tools, and strategies.  I am married and have 3 children:  one who teaches in Minneapolis, another who works in the hospital in Marquette, and a third who is a sophomore at UW Madison.
